    Crisis Pregnancy Centers are religiously-affiliated nonprofit organizations that provide pseudo-medical services to spread harmful medical misinformation to abortion seekers, some funded with US tax dollars. With the many abortion ban states in the midwest and south, they are targeting Illinois as the closest protected state where many abortion seekers come for services. As an abortion clinic escort in Chicago, I saw first hand the targeted harassment of abortion seekers, and recognized the urgency of using creativity to fight for reproductive justice, which led to me creating and releasing this open brief.

     

    Released on LinkedIn to any and all creatives who wanted to lend their talents to a worthy cause, we collected sign-ups through google forms, and provided additional guidelines so that creatives can work within the proper constraints.

    Agency Submissions Included some of the biggest names in the industry such as: TWBA/Chiat/Day, Johannes Leonardo, Edelman. Leo Burnett, Havas, David & Goliath, Mekanism NYC, In Wild Pursuit, Dentsu, Grey, McCann, Ogilvy.
